Wine Photography Class: Getting the Shot, Getting the Story (August 25)

August 25 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm MDT

Wine photography class: getting the shot, getting the story by Kevin Day

Note: This class is for paying subscribers only. Learn more about what’s included with a subscription below.

With nearly 20 years of experience as a professional photographer, I have long seen my camera as a storytelling device. In this online class, I want to share my practical advice on how you can take better pictures the next time you travel — be it for wine, food or just leisure.

Over this one-hour class, I will speak candidly about my experience in the field:

  • How do I research subjects before the trip?
  • What gear is necessary for getting the story?
  • How do you communicate with a subject while taking their portrait?
  • And how do you know when you’ve got “the shot” and can move on?

Even if you are not a hobbyist, this presentation will provide useful guidance for your snapshots. Pour yourself a glass of wine and come see what goes into the imagery on Opening a Bottle.

As part of my commitment to provide better serve the Opening a Bottle community, there will be two time slots for this presentation:
