On February 19, 2022, subscribers to Opening a Bottle joined Editor-in-Chief Kevin Day for a seminar and discussion on the wines of Barbaresco and Barolo. Kevin covered the history, production code, terroir and winemaking methods of the region with the aid of special guest star videos from wine educator and Langhe tour guide Anna Savino, winemaker Luigi Vico of Serralunga d’Alba, and Luca and Elena Currado from the esteemed estate of Vietti.

The seminar also covered enjoying and aging these wines as well as a few travel tips for exploring the region.
