On Sunday, October 19, join me for a special subscriber gathering to celebrate the release of my new book, Opening a Bottle: Italy. Think of it as a behind-the-scenes chat: why I decided to write this book, how the idea took shape, and the arduous task (wink wink) of choosing the 100 Wines to Admire.
I’ll also share what this milestone means for the website’s content moving forward, and seek input from you all.
Of course, no gathering would be complete without a glass in hand—so bring along something you’re excited to drink, and we’ll trade notes as we go. It doesn’t even have to be Italian, but in the spirit of the book, that’s what will be in my glass. Afterward, I’ll open things up for your questions, whether they’re about the book, the wines, or Italian wine culture in general.
