Enjoying wine at home is one of life’s great pleasures — a chance to slow down, connect with something ancient and sensual, and elevate the moments that matter. Life is too short to drink bad wine, and it is certainly too short to spend exorbitantly on bottles that don’t deliver.
That’s why I launched my Wine Cellar Consultation Services — a personalized program designed to take the guesswork out of collecting. My client list is small and exclusive. My ability to scout out exciting wines is strong. I’ll act as your personal wine shopper, coordinating shipments and mixed cases tailored to your taste, while advising on what’s ready to drink and what’s worth holding from your existing (or nascent) collection.

“During the pandemic I started taking Kevin’s wonderful, Opening a Bottle zoom classes. It was clear that he knew his wines, and I asked him to consult on my wine collection. Kevin quickly put his skills and knowledge to work improving the quality — not to mention quantity — of my wines. His service is not an algorithm, but one-on-one communication based on an understanding of my drinking preferences. I have since expanded my horizons, started tasting wines I had avoided, and generally improved the quality of my holdings. Kudos to Kevin.” Alan S.
