Our Online Wine Class on the Wines of Friuli, Italy

Paying Subscribers Recently Joined Us for an In-Depth Look at This Wine Wonderland

On Sunday, March 5, 2023, our community of wine lover’s gathered online for a new class on Friuli, Italy, one of the world’s top destinations for white wine. We covered the basics of terroir, including the role of the Alps and the Adriatic Sea, as well as “ponca” soil, and we did a deep dive on the area’s abundant grape varieties. To finish the evening, we “visited” three wineries with a unique perspective, and closed with some travel tips for visiting the area and exploring its cultural sites.
