Grappolo Food & Wine School
Grappolo Food & Wine School is a Denver-based academy founded by Scott and Paula Thomas, two industry veterans each with more than 20 years in the trade. The school offers a range of wine-related experiences, including immersive wine travel; public, private, and corporate events; and structured courses. It provides in-person wine education and certification opportunities — such as Vinitaly International's Italian Wine Maestro certification — for those interested in deepening their knowledge and appreciation of wine.
Grappolo Food & Wine School is dedicated to providing comprehensive and accessible wine education for the wine industry and enthusiasts at every level. By emphasizing in-person learning, the school facilitates direct interaction with instructors and peers, creating a more engaging and personalized educational experience.
Over the last year, Scott Thomas and I have partnered together to expand Opening a Bottle's Italian wine coverage, and to find unique and new opportunities in the Denver area to expand our brands together. All that to say: more to come on this partnership.
