Wilson Daniels

"Discerning" is the most appropriate words to describe the wine and spirits in the Wilson Daniels' portfolio. Long considered one of America's top importers for fine wine, the Napa-based company has forged its reputation as the national importer for such iconic wineries as Biondi-Santi, Gaja and Benanti in Italy, and Domaine Leflaive, Champagne Gosset and the most esteemed of all, Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, in France. They also import wines from Spain, Portugal, Hungary, New Zealand and represent several American wineries.

I have been fortunate enough to tag along on two Wilson Daniels press tours — across France in 2017 and Veneto in 2018 — and I've seen just how high their standards are.

A Tasting at Domaine de la Romanée-Conti

Wilson Daniels has long been the importer of the most celebrated winery in the world — Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. Entrance into the Burgundy estate's cellar is a very rare privilege, one that I was able to experience thanks to the importer opening the door for me on a press tour.
